Hi, I’m Carter.

About Me

Carter was born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in December 2020 with a B.A. in English. After earning his Bachelor’s, he went on to graduate from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado with a Juris Doctor in May 2024.

Carter joined the Colorado Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel as a contractor at the conclusion of his first year of law school. Since joining Angela, Carter has worked and managed cases at every stage of criminal proceedings, from pre-filing matters, jury trials, direct appeals, proceedings for postconviction relief, and petitions for certiorari to the Colorado Supreme Court.

After working with Angela for 2 years, Carter joined Angela Campbell Law Group as an Associate Attorney in 2024. He is passionate about defending clients through every phase of the legal process, ensuring that his clients are respected and that justice is upheld at every step. He manages a caseload of adult and juvenile felony and misdemeanor cases, ranging from municipal to district court matters and including traffic offenses, drug charges, assaults, thefts, domestic violence, DUIs, and other serious felonies. In addition to his work on criminal matters, Carter assists clients with protection order cases and works on teams pursuing relief for clients in matters of civil rights.
